How a Traeger Grill works
Pellets are driven into a fire pot by an
auger, during the first few minutes a fire rod automatically
ignites the pellets then shuts off. A small fan feeds oxygen
to the pellets keeping them burning.
Standard control is a 3 way switch smoke, medium, or high.
Pellets are fed based on preset time intervals. The least
amount on smoke and continuous feed on high.
Digital thermostat control feeds pellets based on demand
from a temperature control. Pellets are fed until temperature
is satisfied. This compensates for outside ambient temperatures.
highly recommended addition to your grill.
